UHLSPORT UNITED COUNTIES LEAGUE – RESERVE DIVISION

COGENHOE UNITED Reserves v MILTON KEYNES IRISH Reserves

Compton Park,

Brafield Rd,

Cogenhoe.

NN7 1ND

KO 7-45pm

The Reserves finally return to action after a frustrating sixteen day gap after Raunds Town called off their scheduled game at the weekend, when they entertain Milton Keynes Irish under the Compton Park lights on Tuesday night.

In their last game, back on Saturday 3rd September, they progressed to the next round of the league cup with a 1-0 win over visitors Bourne Town, with Lee Felgate scoring the all-important goal from the penalty spot in the second half. Irish on the other hand, were in action on Saturday when they made the trip up north to play Harborough Town, but they didn’t enjoy the afternoon too much as they ended up on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline. They currently sit two places and three points ahead of the Cooks, but have played two games more with two league wins so far this season, a 2-0 victory over Huntingdon in Fenny Stratford and a massive 8-0 success away to Rothwell Corinthians.

Lee Felgate was the match-winner in the Cooks Reserves last game back at the start of the month.
