19 year-old Tom joins the Cooks with two season’s step 5 experience already under his belt

Tom joins us after spending the last 2 seasons at Godmanchester Rovers in the Thurlow Nunn league. Tom has also spent the last 3 years on the scholarship programme at St Ives Town FC so he is a player both Craig Adams and Lloyd Groves have worked with. He can ply his trade either out wide on either side or through the middle if required.
Craig said; Wakes is extremely hard working and has super technique, he’s brave as they come and a team player with a great attitude towards doing things properly so he ticks a lot of boxes for us as a person. We’re really happy to have him on board with us as he continues his development as a player.
