EMIRATES F.A CUP EXTRA PRELIMINARY ROUND REPLAYS
LUTTERWORTH TOWN 1-3 NEWARK
The clash across the Premier Division divides went the way of the north as Newark won their replay 3-1 at Kong Park. There was a late flurry of goals here with the only goal of the first half going to Kuwsi Ofushine who netted on 33 minutes, but it wasn’t until 81 that Newark doubled their lead through Kevin Hemagou. Romelio Nangle made it safe two minutes into injury time with his side’s third goal and there was just time for Marshall Keenan to grab a consolation three minutes later.
WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK 0-0 EASINGTON SPORTS (at Easington Sports)
(Easington won 4-3 on pens)
Neither side could find the net in 120 minutes after Saturday’s 1-1 draw, so it was decided on kicks from the penalty mark. The UCL came away the happiest by winning 4-3 and earning a trip to Cinderford Town in the next round.

COVENTRY SPHINX 1-0 BUGBROOKE ST MICHAELS
A Ryan Harkin goal two minutes into the second half proved enough to give Sphinx their first three points in the UCL. Decent goal too as he controlled a throw-in inside the box, turned past two defenders and beat a third before unleashing a powerful strike that the keeper got a hand too but couldn’t keep out.
LONG BUCKBY 2-4 RUGBY TOWN
David Kolodynski is something of a goalscoring legend for the Valley and he is up and running again this season with a hat-trick in this cross county derby. Kolodynski opened the scoring with a calm finish on 18 minutes, but the Bucks were level two minutes later when Ryan Ansell rounded the keeper before rolling the ball home. Danico Johnson restored the visitor’s advantage five minutes before the break from the penalty spot, but the home side were level again on 65 minutes when Baillie O’Reilly chested the ball down and volleyed in off the post. Kolodynski poked Rugby back in front on 71 after Johnson’s shot had been blocked and he completed his hat-trick six minutes from time, again on the rebound after good work by Johnson but this time smashing the ball into the back of the net.
PETERBOROUGH NORTHERN STAR 9-2 BIGGLESWADE UNITED
Two teams who had suffered heavy defeats in their opening games went head to head at the Branch Bros Stadium and it resulted in a goal fest with PNS getting their score spelled out on the teleprinter (NINE). Connor Pilbeam scored a hat-trick, Harley Williams netted twice with Rikki Goodale, Joe Kelly, Denis Tomkins and Jack Wilson all chipping in with singles. Callum Ellliott and Jaheim Flemmings scoring for the losers who have now conceded 23 goals in their first three games.
WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN 1-2 EYNESBURY ROVERS
Jake Newman netted his fifth goal of the season to put the Doughboys into the lead after 48 minutes, but he ended on the losing side yet again as Eynesbury hit back to win it through Josh Brown on 61 and Charlie Moss ten minutes later.

EMIRATES F.A CUP EXTRA PRELIMINARY ROUND REPLAYS
HAVERHILL ROVERS 0-2 COGENHOE UNITED
The Cooks won 2-0 away at Haverhill to progress at the second attempt. Not a classic but the UCL side were worthy winners over their ECL hosts who played the whole of the second half with ten men following the sending off of Ryan Weaver for violent conduct during a brawl. Cogenhoe were already 1-0 by then thanks to Archie Elmore’s low drive from just inside the box on 40 minutes. Rovers rarely looked like breaking down Cogenhoe’s solid defence and they were finally killed off when Dylan Wilson scored a second with a great finish after breaking through one-on one with keeper Dan Kimber and dinking the ball past him and high into the net.
O.N CHENECKS 1-0 GODMANCHESTER ROVERS (at Cogenhoe United)
Jon Muddiman had scored his side’s goal in the draw on Saturday and he struck again in the replay, only this time it remained unanswered as Chenecks marched on.

COVENTRY UNITED 3-0 G.N.G OADBY TOWN
The red and greens made it three straight wins with a 3-0 success over GNG Oadby Town at the Butts Park Arena. Tyler Haddow scored for the third game running to give Cov the half-time lead with his 18th minute strike and Riley O’Sullivan did the same on 56 when he pounced on a poor back pass. Joe Cairns completed the scoring from close range on 76 minutes to complete a very satisfying day for the home side.
