UHLSPORT UNITED COUNTIES LEAGUE-RESERVE DIVISION
DAVENTRY TOWN Reserves (1) 1 COGENHOE UNITED Reserves (1) 1
The Reserves made the trip to fellow strugglers Daventry Town and ended their poor run of results by securing a point in a 1-1 draw. It was announced in last Friday night’s programme that Ian Adcock will be taking the reins next season and with his current club Earls Barton having already completed their league campaign, he brought along a number of players that we are likely to see in blue next year. Sonny Knights had given the home side the lead on 28 minutes, but Glenn Cakebread, one of Cogenhoe’s six debutants, drew his side level on 34 minutes and that is the way it stayed until the final whistle.
