With the game evenly balanced again, it was the visitors who got the vital third and decisive goal when Madundo Semahimbo fired home at the near post with a low strike from Caine Elliott’s cross with 73 minutes played.
BEDFORDSHIRE F.A SENIOR CUP – SEMI FINAL
BIGGLESWADE UNITED 1-5 BEDFORD TOWN

The UCL boys took the lead on 11 minutes when Markel Cousins took advantage of mistake at the back, but dreams of a giant-killing were put back on the shelf sixty seconds later when Connor Tomlinson turned on the edge of the box before firing home the equaliser. Olly Swain put the Eagles in front on 40 minutes following a corner and that is how it stood at the break. A scorcher from Charley Sanders three minutes into the second half opened up a two-goal cushion for the Southern League Division One Midlands leaders, then on 61 Sanders got his second with a cool finish after finding himself one-on-one with the keeper. Sanders turned provider for the fifth and final goal after 76 minutes when his cross picked out Danny Setchell in the middle and he took a touch before drilling the ball into the bottom left corner to end Biggleswade’s cup run for another year.

O.N CHENECKS 3-1 HINCKLEY LRFC
The shock result of the season came at Billing Road where bottom club Chenecks beat Hinckley LRFC 3-1, a result that does Harborough a massive favour at the top of the table. When Liam Read gave the visitors the lead on 5 minutes all appeared to be as normal in this game, but Emmanuel Odiadi netted an equaliser on 38 and Gokhan Ulker put the strugglers in front two minutes before the break. The Hinckley side had the wind to their advantage in the second half, but it was the home side who extended their lead on 73 minutes when Ulker grabbed his second and that was too much for the visitors to recover from. Goddy couldn’t find the breakthrough they so needed after the break and Rugby made sure on 83 minutes when sub Alex Lock curled home a shot from a couple of yards outside the box from an Ahenkorah lay off.
