The striker links up with Craig Adams for a second time.

Former clubs; Rushden & Higham United, St Ives Town, Cogenhoe United (loan), Wellingborough Town.

Craig Adams is delighted to capture the 21-year-old striker having worked with him for two seasons at St Ives Town and Dylan was keen to link up once again with his former gaffer. He started off his senior career with Rushden & Higham United and quickly established himself, but it was in his third season that he really caught the eye as he scored 35 goals in 39 matches for the Lankies and came under scrutiny of many other clubs, including Cogenhoe. In total he scored 46 goals in 76 appearances at the Hayden Road club before Adams took him into the Southern League with St Ives Town. He was looking to push on in his new surroundings when a terrible injury left him side-lined for several months and as he started his road back to match-fitness he joined The Cooks on loan during the 2019/20 season. He marked his debut with a well taken goal in a thrilling 3-3 draw at home to Deeping before putting in another very promising performance at a full-strength Kettering Town the following midweek, but disappointingly for us his spell at Compton Park ended there as an injury crisis at Westwood Road meant Dylan was recalled by his parent club.
Wilson spent last season at Wellingborough Town and scored 6 in 12 games which included a very decent run in the F.A Vase and like Craig, I am delighted to see him back at Compton Park for what will hopefully be a much longer spell in blue.
