Impressive youngster commits once again to the Compton Park cause.
Will Russell
Wideman or forward
Former club Wellingborough Town
Teenager Russell has chosen to stay at the club after his short, but explosive stay at the club just before last season’s lockdown. He was Gary Petts’ last signing for the club as he moved down the A45 from local rivals Wellingborough Town and he immediately made his mark with a hat-trick for the reserves on his debut at Lutterworth Athletic. Not surprisingly his first team call-up followed quickly and he came off the bench to score his first goal in a 4-1 win at Pinchbeck, then he hit our final goal on that incredible night in Cockfosters to make it 2 goals in 4 appearances for the first team. Will can play wide or down the middle and we look forward to seeing him in action once again as he is another young player with real potential.
