Biff’s boys are swiftly back in action on Tuesday evening when they make the short trip to Larkhall Lane to play Harpole with the game kicking-off at 6-30 pm. Our hosts play their football in the Northants Combination Premier Division Division, two steps below the Cooks, but are always a competitive team who will be looking to put one over on their higher grade opponents.
The last time we travelled to Harpole was for the first pre-season game of the 2020/21 season with the Cooks running out 3-0 winners on the night. Taylor Orosz opened the scoring with just 3 minutes played, but the game remained fairly tight up until the final stages. Imad Abassi doubled the lead with 12 minutes remaining and Orosz completed his personal double seven minutes later.
The Cooks team that day was Brad Lashley, Will Bates, Jack Mullally, Ollie Emery, Ryan Chamberlain, Jake Gilingwater (c), Carter Price, Michael Cirelli, Taylor Orosz, Alejandro Nwafor and Imad Abassi. The subs used that night were Archie Culley, James Hackett, Paddy Cichosz and Daniel Uche.
