Daz and Steve will be hoping to continue there recent unbeaten run as they entertain fellow Northamptonshire club Rothwell Corinthians tomorrow afternoon with our guests still needing points to ensure they keep their step five status next season. For mid-table sides like the Cooks, games against sides battling at the bottom end can prove tricky, but with the mindset we have now I’m sure we will be up for the challenge again come 3pm tomorrow. Corinthians themselves have started picking up points of late and although they lost 2-0 at home to second placed Hinckley LRFC last time out, their previous four games have seen them pick up six points which is the cushion they now have over the relegation zone. A very good 2-1 at Long Buckby followed three draws, Desborough home 0-0, Lutterworth away 0-0 and Eynesbury home 1-1. Recent signing Jurelle Phillip scored both their goals in the Buckby win and looks a good addition to their squad, whilst they also feature Zac Allen who was a recent target for Cooks manager Darren Long. The Cooks were beaten by a James Mann goal at Sargeants Lawn back in August with the home side featuring a certain Ryan Archer in their starting line-up, so I’m sure he will be looking to impress against his old club as his teammates seek a little revenge for that defeat.

Gary Fletcher and Damian McGrath are back on the road with the Reserves as they head to Raunds Town looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of defeats against Bourne and MK Irish. The Shopmates are currently bottom with just one win all season and have lost their last twelve games and have only won once so far, but as we all know football is seldom predictable, just ask any Spurs supporter. We beat them 4-2 at Compton Park back in September with U18s players Shad Reza and Luca Iaciofano both scoring twice to outweight Mohamed Sayed and Justin Dickinson.

Both games kick-off at 3-pm.
