Finbarr Carroll announced the supporter’s player of the year, presented by club legend Derek.

Player’s player of the season.

KIERON MOBBS

Unfortunately Kieron wasn’t able to make the presentation evening, so Ian Adcock stepped in to accept the award on his behalf.

Manager’s player of the season.

SAM HARRIS

Sam accepts his second award of the night from Derek. Turned out to be a great weekend for Sam as he was at Wembley on Saturday to watch his beloved Notts County win their place back in the Football League.

Congratulations to the four players who swept the board this season, but a big thank you to everyone else who made this season possible from the committee, management and all those players who represented the Cooks throughout the 2022/23 season.

Thanks go to Wag, Derek, Jon, Maurice, Ian, Brian, Martin and everyone else behind the scenes for making this all possible.

Personal thanks to Biff, Andy, Ryan and Nathan whom I have shared the first team ride with this season, through the highs and the lows, plus to Ian for his match reports and Finbarr for all his photos from the reserves team games, plus some of the first team matches too. Special mention to Lee and Sam for keeping Ian sane during those times when he was struggling to get eleven players on the pitch. Also thanks to Fin for his unequalled coverage of the Veterans team who romped to the Division 3 title of the MK league in their first season. Also thanks to all the players who have represented the club this season, we have a great bunch of lads in both first team and reserve team squads now, inevitably there will be one or two who don’t return after the summer break, that’s football, but hope to see most of you back when the new season gets underway at the end of July. Enjoy the break. I should be back on line on Monday with the details of the UCL Premier Division South tomorrow evening with the F.A announcement due at lunchtime tomorrow.
