The F.A have announced the constitutions for 2023/24 with the UCL Premier Division South going back to its full allocation of 20 teams after playing two short last season.

We have seven new grounds to visit, although four of them are clubs returning to our division. The three newest additions to the Cooks travel map are Aylestone Park who have been promoted from Division One of the UCL, Rugby Borough who came up from the Spartan South Midlands League Division One through the play-offs and Racing Club Warwick who have been moved sideways from the Midland League Premier Division. The clubs returning are Leicester Nirvana who have been moved across from the North Division, plus the relegated trio of Daventry Town, St Neots Town and Yaxley.

We say goodbye to promoted pair Coventry Sphinx and Rugby Town who will both play in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands where they are joined by their old UCL rivals Quorn and Anstey Nomads who have been elevated from the North Division. Milton Keynes Irish have been moved back to the SSML Premier Division after just one season in the UCL, while bottom two Long Buckby and Rothwell Corinthians have both been relegated to the SSML Division One. Thankfully for the latter two, the F.A reshuffle has moved the most southerly clubs out of this league, so the travelling will be a lot less for the Northants teams than it was last year.

Good luck to all our old friends that are moving on to new pastures.
