The Vets team rattled in another nine goals with Sovereigns their latest victims in the County Cup. Another hat-trick from Steve Carroll took his tally to 26 for the season, while Craig Smith’s brace doubled his personal tally. Paul Carroll, Mark Dent, Donovan Reed and James Lister took the score-line up to nine.
Next week the vets are home again as they return to league action against third placed Leighton Lions who sit three points behind us with a game in hand. Current leaders AFC Sherington are without a game so a win would see us top the table at Christmas as the following Sunday sees all the teams around us in cup action.
