Cogenhoe vets host Leighton Lions this Sunday, 10.30 kick-off on the back pitch.
The Lions come to Compton Park after getting knocked out of the vets cup last weekend at home to North Star, with the cooks progressing in the same competition (to the quarter finals) having recorded a 9-0 win over Northampton Sovereigns. Cooks vets have been scoring a lot of goals lately, so it was nice on Sunday to keep a clean sheet.
Leighton sit 3rd in the table 3 points behind Cogenhoe having played the same amount of league games having won 5, drawn 2 with 1 loss. with a goal differance of plus 12.
The Cooks will be looking to take over in top spot of division 3 after FC Sherington nudged them off the number 1 position 2 weeks ago when the Cooks had a blank weekend.
