I have made the decision to relinquish my role as Chairman of Cogenhoe United Football Club. It is confirmation of a decision I considered with the Board the previous season. I will be stepping back from all activity after I have overseen all league fixtures, Cup Finals, and close season pitch renovation.
I will be looking for the club to continue in its present guise but am aware of the urgent need of the regeneration of support and volunteers both on and off the field. This presents a rare opportunity for the appropriate person or group of people to invest into a Step 5 club and offer both energy and financial support to secure this well-established club over the coming years.
I would like to thank my fellow Directors and Club members for their unwavering support and the present Management Team who have been a pleasure to have on board.
