The Cooks picked up their league win as they carried on their unbeaten start with an emphatic 6-1 over Milton Keynes club Clean Slate. Ollie Reynolds and Steve Carroll both scored twice, backed up by singles from Paul Carroll and Paul Raymond, with Steve Carroll taking the man-of-the-match accolade.
Next up is a trip across Northampton to the Elgar Centre Recreation Ground in Upton where they face Northampton Sovereigns Vets in the first round of the Milton Keynes Vets Cup, kick off 10-30 am.
